Picture a late afternoon stroll by spectacular blooms in the LSU AgCenter Burden Center’s All-American Rose Garden where over 1,000 rose bushes burst with color. Gracing the garden will be C. C. Lockwood student photos taken by many talented photographers who participated in C.C. Lockwood’s recent class at the Burden Center. Enjoy a wine tasting sponsored by the Burden Horticulture Society and The Loft in the Steele Burden Memorial Orangerie.
Lovely gardens, critiqued photographs, light hors d'oeuvres, and wine varietals all make for a wonderful experience on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at the Burden Center, 4560 Essen Lane, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $10 per person. For more information, call 225-763-3990.
